Use 5G Express Cloud Connect
Use 5G Express Cloud Connect (CC5G) to connect your Internet of Things (IoT) devices to the cloud over a dedicated channel. This topic describes how to create and manage CC5G instances.
Create a 5G Express Cloud Connect instance
To use CC5G, you must first create a CC5G instance. You need to specify a dedicated Access Point Name (APN), a virtual private cloud (VPC), and vSwitches.
Log on to the CC5G console.
In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region. The region must be the same as the region of your VPC.
On the Instance List page, click Create Commercial Instance.
On the Create Instance page, configure the instance based on the following information, and then click Complete.

Basic Information | |
Name | Enter a name for the 5G Express Cloud Connect instance. The name must be 2 to 128 characters long. It must start with a letter and can contain digits, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-). |
APN | Select the connection type. IoT devices use the specified dedicated APN to access Alibaba Cloud services. |
Carrier | The carrier to which the APN belongs. After you select an APN, the system automatically selects the corresponding carrier. |
Network Configuration | |
VPC | Select the VPC to which you want to attach the cloud connector instance. IoT devices can directly connect to this VPC. |
vSwitch | Select the vSwitches to which you want to attach the cloud connector instance. You must select two vSwitches in different zones to serve as the primary and secondary vSwitches. |

The carrier and APN information cannot be changed after a 5G Express Cloud Connect instance is created.

When you create a CC5G instance, the system checks for the AliyunServiceRoleForCCIoT and AliyunServiceRoleForNatgw service-linked roles. If the roles do not exist, the system automatically creates them. For more information, see AliyunServiceRoleForCCIoT and AliyunServiceRoleForNatgw.
After the instance is created, it is displayed on the Instance List page. To view the instance, select its region in the upper-left corner.
Attach and detach vSwitches
You can attach or detach vSwitches if your business requirements change.
Log on to the CC5G console.
On the Instance List page, find the target instance and click its ID.
On the Instance Information tab, in the Basic Information section, click Attach or Detach to the right of Cloud Connector Information.
Attach: In the Attach vSwitch dialog box, select the VPC and vSwitch that you want to attach, and then click OK.
Detach: In the dialog box that appears, click OK. This operation detaches all vSwitches from the instance. The instance becomes unavailable after the vSwitches are detached. The instance functions normally after you attach vSwitches again.
Delete 5G Express Cloud Connect
Before you delete a 5G Express Cloud Connect instance, ensure that you have performed the following operations:
You have detached the vSwitches from the CC5G instance. For more information, see Attach and detach vSwitches.
You have unregistered the IoT SIM cards that you purchased for the CC5G instance. For more information, see Unregister an IoT SIM card.
You have deleted the authorization rules for the CC5G instance. For more information, see Delete an authorization rule.
Log on to the CC5G console.
On the Instance List page, find the target CC5G instance. In the Actions column, choose > Delete.
In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
