Enable the multi-account management service

Background

• If you use the corporate finance features, you can upgrade to the multi-account management service. For instructions, see Enterprise Finance Management Upgrade Guide.

Prerequisites

Make sure that you have completed enterprise real-name registration. This service is available only to a general enterprise or government/public institution, not to a self-employed business. Additionally, your account cannot be a virtual carrier partner, a customer of a virtual carrier partner, or an account whose bills are paid by a distribution partner. Enable by facial scan

The legal representative can immediately enable the service by completing a facial scan with the Alibaba Cloud or Taobao app. This section uses the Alibaba Cloud app as an example.

Prerequisite: Ensure that you have downloaded and installed the Alibaba Cloud app on your mobile phone.

1. Log on to the account center. Under My Entity, click Enterprise real-name registration info, click the Enable Enterprise Management tab, and then click Enable Now.

2. In the Join Enterprise Account dialog box, select Facial scan of legal representative as the Enablement Method, review and agree to the Enterprise Administrator Account Permission Agreement, and then click Continue.

3. Scan the QR code within 30 minutes. The legal representative uses the Alibaba Cloud app to scan the QR code.

   In addition to the Alibaba Cloud app, you can also use the Taobao app to scan the QR code and complete the verification. Do not close the current page until the facial scan is successful. If someone else needs to perform the facial scan, you can share the QR code with the legal representative. Ensure they scan it before it expires. The right side of the page displays the enablement information, including the enterprise name, Unified Social Credit Code, MA (master administrator) account and its UID, and the application letter. This letter takes effect after the service is enabled.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Alibaba Cloud app to complete the facial scan verification.

5. After the legal representative's facial scan is verified, a success message appears in the Join Enterprise Account dialog box on your PC. Once the service is enabled, you can download the application letter.

   The enablement information includes the Enterprise Name, Unified Social Credit Code, MA (master administrator) account, MA Account UID, and a download link for the application letter.

Enable by uploading application materials

To apply for the multi-account management service, upload the Application Letter for Enabling an Enterprise Administrator Account and your business license. Alibaba Cloud enables the service after reviewing and approving your application. The review process typically takes one to three business days.

1. Log on to the account center. Under My Entity, click Enterprise real-name registration info, click the Enable Enterprise Management tab, and then click Enable Now.

2. In the Join Enterprise Account dialog box, select Upload Application Materials as the Enablement Method. Click Download Template to download the Application Letter for Enabling an Enterprise Administrator Account. Review and agree to the Enterprise Administrator Account Permission Agreement, and then click Continue.

3. Fill in all required information in the Application Letter for Enabling an Enterprise Administrator Account and stamp it with your official company seal. Upload the application letter and business license as required, and then click Confirm to Enable.

   • The application letter must have a clear and complete official company seal. The uploaded file must be in PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, SVG, or PDF format and cannot exceed 5 MB.

   • The business license must be a scanned copy or photocopy of your latest business license, with the company seal clearly visible. The uploaded file must be in PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, SVG, or PDF format and cannot exceed 5 MB.

   The Enablement Information section on the right displays the Enterprise Name, Unified Social Credit Code, MA (master administrator) account, and MA Account UID for you to verify before submission. A Download Application Letter Template link is available in the upload area.

4. Your application is now under review by Alibaba Cloud, which typically takes one to three business days.

   During this time, the page displays Back and Withdraw Application buttons. The Enablement Information section displays the information you submitted, including the enterprise name, Unified Social Credit Code, MA (master administrator) account, MA account UID, application letter, and business license.

5. When your application is approved, the multi-account management service is automatically enabled, allowing you to use its features.

   After the service is enabled, go to the Enterprise Information tab under Enterprise real-name registration info to view the following information: Basic Information (including Enterprise Name, Unified Social Credit Code, MA (master administrator) account, Enterprise Authorization Letter, and Enablement Time), Invitation code (with options to copy and reset the code), and MA Settings (including Management Personnel, Account UID, Administrator's Mobile Number, MA (master administrator) account, and a Transfer option).
