Features

ACK Edge clusters support lifecycle management of containerized applications and resources across edge environments. With an ACK Edge cluster, you can:

  • Create and manage highly available clusters — spin up clusters from the console and use built-in cluster scaling, updates, logging, and monitoring.

  • Connect heterogeneous edge nodes — attach data center devices, IoT devices, x86-based devices, and ARM-based devices, with colocation of heterogeneous resources supported.ENS

  • Run reliably over weak network connections — node autonomy and network autonomy keep edge nodes and workloads operational when connectivity to the cloud is degraded or intermittent.

  • Manage edge nodes through reverse tunneling — use reverse tunneling for remote management and maintenance of edge nodes.

  • Deploy with cell-based precision — use cell-based management, cell-based deployment, and cell-based traffic management at the edge.
