Install the cnfs-controller add-on to use Container Network File System (CNFS) for managing Apsara File Storage NAS (NAS) and Object Storage Service (OSS) buckets. Unlike traditional shared file systems, CNFS improves storage volume performance, Quality of Service (QoS) control, capacity quota precision, and accidental deletion recovery.
Compatibility
This add-on is compatible only with Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) clusters running Kubernetes 1.26 or later. If your cluster runs an earlier version, upgrade it first.
Install the cnfs-controller add-on
On the ACK Clusters page, click the name of your cluster. In the left navigation pane, click Add-ons.
Click the Storage tab, find the cnfs-controller add-on, and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
FAQ
Why is the storage monitoring dashboard empty after upgrading storage-operator to v1.33.1 or later?
After cnfs-controller became a managed add-on, the data collection path for monitoring metrics was changed. When upgrading storage-operator to v1.33.1 or later, make sure to also upgrade the related monitoring add-ons. Otherwise, the storage monitoring dashboard will fail to display metrics.
Upgrade ack-arms-prometheus to v1.1.37 or later. For instructions, see Manage add-ons.
Update the integration component for cluster monitoring to the latest version.
