To use APIG Ingress, install the add-on in the console. You can also use the console to upgrade or uninstall the add-on.
Install the APIG Controller add-on
APIG Ingress is an upgraded version of MSE Ingress. In regions that support both, the console shows only options for APIG Ingress. Existing MSE Ingress users are not affected and can continue to create and manage MSE Ingresses.
Existing cluster
Log on to the ACK console. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.
On the Clusters page, click the name of your cluster. In the left navigation pane, click Components and Add-ons.

On the Add-ons page, enter
APIGin the search box. Then, on the APIG Controller add-on card, click Install.
Cluster creation
When you create a cluster, in the Ingress section of the Component Configurations step, select APIG Ingress. For detailed instructions on how to create a cluster, see Create an ACK managed cluster.
Upgrade the APIG Controller add-on
Log on to the ACK console. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.
On the Clusters page, click the name of your cluster. In the left navigation pane, click Components and Add-ons.

On the Add-ons page, click the Networking tab. On the APIG Controller card, click Upgrade.
If the Upgrade button is unavailable on the APIG Controller card, the add-on is up to date.

In the Upgrade component dialog box, click OK.
Uninstall the APIG Controller add-on
Log on to the ACK console. In the left navigation pane, click Clusters.
On the Clusters page, click the name of your cluster. In the left navigation pane, click Components and Add-ons.

On the Add-ons page, click the Networking tab. In the lower-right corner of the APIG Controller card, click Uninstall.

In the Uninstall component dialog box, click OK.
