After you enable Fleet management, you can add associated clusters to a Fleet, which serves as a unified entry point for distributing applications and workloads across different regions. This topic explains how to add, view, and disassociate clusters.
Prerequisites
-
Fleet management is enabled. For more information, see Enable Fleet management.
-
The cluster to be associated and the Fleet instance must be in the same Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). If they are in different VPCs, the cluster must have public internet access, or the VPCs must be connected through Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN).
-
You can add or disassociate a maximum of 10 associated clusters in a single operation.
Add associated clusters
Log on to the ACK One console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
-
On the Associated Clusters page, click Add Associated Cluster.
-
In the Add Associated Cluster panel, select the clusters to associate and then click OK.
Wait for up to 5 minutes. The cluster is successfully associated when its status changes to Associated on the Associated Clusters page.
NoteAfter you add an associated cluster, you must manually refresh the Associated Clusters page to view the latest list of associated clusters. The following list describes the association statuses:
-
Processing: The request to add the cluster is submitted.
-
Associating: The Fleet is associating the cluster.
-
Associated: The cluster is successfully associated.
-
Failed to Associate: The cluster failed to associate.
-
View associated clusters
Log on to the ACK One console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
-
On the Associated Clusters page, view the list of associated clusters and their statuses.
Disassociate associated clusters
Log on to the ACK One console. In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
-
On the Associated Clusters page, find the cluster to disassociate and click Disassociate in the Actions column.
-
In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
NoteAfter a few moments, refresh the Associated Clusters page. The cluster is successfully disassociated when it no longer appears on the page.
