ack-aiops-guard is a managed component that enables autonomous intelligent O&M for the Container Service Agent. It detects anomalies based on autonomous anomaly detection rules and invokes the Container Service Agent to proactively resolve them. This topic provides an overview of the ack-aiops-guard component, including its usage notes and release notes.

Component overview

The ack-aiops-guard managed component uses autonomous anomaly detection rules to monitor signals within your cluster, such as status changes of Kubernetes objects and triggered exception events. It also accepts input from external monitoring and alerting systems via webhooks. After the rule engine analyzes these signals, ack-aiops-guard invokes the Container Service Agent to initiate exception handling and O&M workflows. This automates anomaly resolution and proactive O&M tasks.

Usage notes

  • To enable the Container Service Agent feature, you must complete the Container Service Agent authorization. The autonomous intelligent O&M feature is an optional add-on for the Container Service Agent, which requires you to additionally authorize the AliyunCSManagedAiopsGuardRole with permissions for the autonomous anomaly detection component.

  • Each new version of the ack-aiops-guard component updates the autonomous anomaly detection rules for the autonomous intelligent O&M feature. Upgrade to the latest version to use the most recent rules.
