ACK eRDMA Controller manages the elastic network interfaces (ENIs) for Elastic Remote Direct Memory Access (eRDMA). It also enables pods in Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) clusters to use eRDMA features.

Introduction

eRDMA is a high-performance RDMA network service provided by Alibaba Cloud that features low latency, high throughput, and high elasticity. eRDMA is developed based on the fourth-generation SHENLONG architecture and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). It is fully compatible with the RDMA ecosystem and provides an ultra-large, inclusive network for Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances.

ACK eRDMA Controller is a Kubernetes controller for eRDMA, providing ENI management, scheduling, and pod networking capabilities.

Usage note

For more information about how to use ACK eRDMA Controller, see Accelerate container networks with eRDMA.
