The ACK eRDMA Controller manages elastic network interfaces (ENIs) that support eRDMA and enables eRDMA for pods in ACK clusters. This topic describes the release notes for the controller.

Overview

Elastic Remote Direct Memory Access (eRDMA) is a high-performance RDMA network service from Alibaba Cloud that offers low latency, high throughput, and high elasticity. Built on the fourth-generation SHENLONG architecture and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), eRDMA is a widely available RDMA service for ECS. It is fully compatible with the RDMA ecosystem and supports large-scale network deployments.

The ACK eRDMA Controller is the Kubernetes controller for Alibaba Cloud eRDMA. It provides elastic network interface (ENI) management, scheduling, and networking for pods.
