Introduction to the Raven cross-network O&M communication component-Container Service for Kubernetes(ACK)-阿里云帮助中心

The raven-agent-ds is the agent for Raven, the cross-network O&M communication component for Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes Edge. This topic provides an overview of the component, its usage notes, and release notes.

Overview

This component is deployed as a DaemonSet and uses the host network mode.

In tunnel mode, the component configures a VXLAN device, an FDB table, and routing information on each cluster node. It also establishes an IPsec-encrypted VPN tunnel to secure network communication between cloud and edge containers. In proxy mode, the component starts a proxy service on each gateway node. This service provides Layer-7 proxying for cloud-to-edge O&M and monitoring. For more information, see Raven cross-network O&M communication component.

Usage notes

This component is supported in ACK Edge cluster versions 1.26.3 and later.

This component is supported in ACK managed cluster versions 1.33.3 and later.
