Update a single-account trail

You can update a single-account trail to change tracked event types or event delivery settings.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ActionTrail console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Trails.

  3. On the Trails page, click the name of the trail that you want to update.

  4. In the upper-right corner of the page that appears, click Edit.

  5. On the Modify Trail page, update the trail parameters.

    • In the Basic Information section, update the tracked event types.

      • Management Event: If Insights Events is not selected, you can specify the type of management events to track. The options are all events, read, and write events.

      • Insights Events: You can select or clear this option as needed. For more information about Insights events, see Insights event overview.

    • In the Event Delivery section, update the delivery settings.

      • Delivery to Log Service

        • To deliver events to the current account, select Delivery to Current Account and update the Logstore Region and Project Name.

        • To deliver events to another account, select Delivery to Another Account and update the Log Service Project ARN and RAM Role ARN of Destination Account.

      • Delivery to OSS

        • To deliver events to the current account, select Delivery to Current Account and update the Bucket Name.

          Note

          The Log File Prefix can be updated only when you select New OSS Bucket.

        • To deliver events to another account, select Delivery to Another Account and update the RAM Role ARN of OSS Bucket, Bucket Name, and Log File Prefix.

      • Delivery to MaxCompute

        • If you select Delivery to Current Account, change the values of MaxCompute Region and Project Quota.

        • If you select Delivery to Another Account, change the values of Project ARN and RAM Role ARN of MaxCompute.

  6. Click Confirm.
