Adding voice to your script content is the final step of script configuration. Four methods are available for script dubbing: online recording, uploading a single recording file, selecting from a list of recording files, and text-to-speech (TTS).

Upload recordings

  1. Log on to the Intelligent Contact Center console.

  2. In the left navigation pane, choose communication with small models > intelligent contact bot > script management.

  3. On the script management page, click the script that you want to configure or click Configure in the upper-right corner of the script. Then, select the script dubbing tab.

  4. Select the script that you want to dub. In the playback type column, select recording, and then click upload recording.

  5. You can upload a recording using one of the following methods: record now, select from recording files, or single upload.

After the recording is complete, a dialog box appears, displaying the script content and recording file information. You can click Modify or rerecord to adjust the recording. After confirming the changes, click Save.

    Note

To save the recording file locally, click Download. Do not leave silence at the beginning or end of your recording.

  6. Click Save.

Text-to-speech

Text-to-speech (TTS) generates audio from text. You can customize the voice by configuring parameters such as voice type, voice style, volume, and speech rate.

  1. Log on to the Intelligent Contact Center console.

  2. In the left navigation pane, choose communication with small models > intelligent contact bot > script management.

  3. On the script management page, click the script that you want to configure or click Configure in the upper-right corner of the script. Then, select the script dubbing tab.

  4. Click Modify Settings. You can preview the voice online. After you confirm the settings, the system synthesizes the audio based on your configuration.

In the dialog box, you can configure the voice type (female or male), voice style (for example, Xiaoyun Standard Female), speech rate, and volume. Enter text in the audition content text box and click quick audition to preview the voice.

  5. Select the script that you want to dub. In the playback type column, select TTS. You can then preview the audio online.
