Packet loss diagnosis

Updated at:

Network packet loss can occur in the operating system kernel for various reasons. Use the packet loss diagnosis feature to analyze root causes and find solutions.

Use cases

  • For packet loss caused by system configuration errors, the feature prompts you to adjust the configuration parameters.

  • If an instance's iptables rules or drivers cause packet loss, the feature prompts you to check the iptables configuration or drivers.

Note

For other scenarios, the packet loss diagnosis feature displays key metrics and recommends that you submit a ticket for further assistance.
