Alibaba Cloud Linux is a Linux server operating system distribution from Alibaba Cloud. It actively incorporates innovations from the open source community, provides enhancements for cloud applications from the Linux community, and ensures product quality through a comprehensive distribution system. The operating system is deeply optimized for Alibaba Cloud infrastructure and includes up to 10 years of enterprise-level support and maintenance, providing Alibaba Cloud users with a superior operating system service.
Alibaba Cloud is the chair of the OpenAnolis community council and has made many technical contributions since the community was founded. As of 2023, the Alibaba Cloud server operating system was the most widely deployed operating system on Alibaba Cloud, supporting hundreds of thousands of users and running on tens of millions of virtual machines. Alibaba Cloud also collaborates with other OpenAnolis council members, such as Intel, on technology and ecosystem initiatives.
