Prerequisites
If you use a RAM user, ensure that you have attached the
AliyunECSReadOnlyAccessandAliyunSysomFullAccesssystem policies to the Alibaba Cloud account, as described in Manage RAM user permissions, and enabled console permissions. When you log on to the operating system console for the first time, click Enable Service to enable the console service.
Start a pod diagnosis
Go to the Operating System Console - System Diagnosis page. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where your target instance is located.
Select the pod diagnosis mode.
When you diagnose a pod in a cluster for the first time, you must grant authorization. Click Authorize and wait for 20 to 40 seconds. SysOM requires limited RBAC access permissions to the destination cluster to retrieve Kubernetes (k8s) node labels. For more information, see RBAC access permissions for ACK.
Enter the cluster ID, diagnosis type, diagnosis item, pod namespace, and pod name. Then, click Run Diagnosis. This example uses the memory panoramic analysis diagnosis item.
Wait for the diagnosis to complete and click View Report.
The report lists the diagnosis conclusions, suggestions, container memory usage, and processes within the container.
