Tableau
Tableau is an easy-to-use and powerful reporting and analysis tool that supports connecting to AnalyticDB for MySQL data sources. After you connect to AnalyticDB for MySQL in Tableau, you can quickly create smart views and dashboards by dragging and dropping or clicking.
Prerequisites

Install the Alibaba AnalyticDB for MySQL connector.

Install Tableau 9.0 or later.
Connect to AnalyticDB for MySQL

Open Tableau. In the left-side navigation pane, click MySQL and configure the following parameters.
Parameter
Description
Server
The endpoint of the AnalyticDB for MySQL cluster.
Port
The port number for the endpoint.
Database Account
The username for an account in your AnalyticDB for MySQL cluster. It can be:

A privileged account.

A standard account.
Password
The password for the account.

After you configure the preceding parameters, click Log On to connect to AnalyticDB for MySQL.
Use Tableau
Once connected, you can view the databases you have access to. Select a database to view its tables, preview the data, and create visual reports.
