Subscription

  • Full refund within five days: You can request a full, no-questions-asked refund within five days of a new purchase.

  • Partial refund: If your refund request for a subscription product does not qualify for the 5-day unconditional full refund, it is processed as a partial refund.
  • Cancel pending renewals: After you create a resource and renew its subscription, you can cancel renewal orders that have not yet taken effect. For renewals that are already active, the cancellation rules for in-use resources apply.

For details about cancellation considerations and refund amount calculations, see Refund rules .

Pay-as-you-go

Pay-as-you-go charges after usage and does not involve refunds.

To stop using a pay-as-you-go instance, release the instance directly in the console.

Warning

After you cancel a subscription instance or release a pay-as-you-go instance, computing and storage resources are released immediately, and data is deleted. Proceed with caution.

Notes

  • You can manually release pay-as-you-go instances only when their Status is Running.

  • You cannot manually release subscription instances. These instances are automatically released upon expiration. However, you can manually release a subscription instance after it is converted to a pay-as-you-go instance.

  • You cannot obtain a refund for bills that have already been generated.
