Add tags to an instance

Limitations

• Each instance can have up to 20 tags, and each tag key must be unique. If you add a tag with an existing key, the new value overwrites the old value.

• You can tag up to 50 instances in a single batch operation.

• Tag information is isolated by region.

• The system automatically deletes a tag when it is no longer associated with any instance.

Procedure

1. Log on to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console.

2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region.

3. Find the instance that you want to tag, then hover over the icon in the Tag column.

4. Click Associate.

5. In the Edit Tags dialog box, enter a Tag Key and a Tag Value, and then click OK.

   Note

   To add multiple tags, repeat this step.
