Restart an instance

Considerations

During the restart, the instance is unavailable.

Procedure

1. Log on to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console.
2. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region.
3. Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID.
4. In the upper-right corner of the Basic Information page, choose Manage Instance > Restart Instance.
5. In the Restart Instance dialog box, click OK.
   Important

   The restart takes 3 to 30 minutes, during which the instance is unavailable and cannot serve requests. Plan your operations accordingly. Once the restart is complete, the instance status changes to Running and you can access the database.
