Instance fee

The instance fee covers the public IP address of an Anycast EIP.

Instance fee = Unit price × Billing duration

• Unit price: The unit price of an Anycast EIP instance is CNY 0.084/hour.

• Billing duration: Measured in hours. Starts when the instance is created and ends when it is released. Durations less than one hour are rounded up to one hour.

Internet traffic fee

The Internet traffic fee covers data transferred from the Internet to an Alibaba Cloud access point.

Internet traffic fee = Unit price × Data transfer 

• Unit price: CNY/GB. Varies by access point region. Pricing.

• Data transfer: Measured in GB. Each billing cycle charges based on dominant traffic (the higher of inbound or outbound traffic). Billable data transfer is the total dominant traffic accumulated during the billing period.

Data transfer fee

The data transfer fee covers data sent to the source server over the Alibaba Cloud global network.

Data transfer fee = Unit price × Data transfer

• Unit price: The unit is CNY/GB.

• Data transfer: The unit is GB.

  Each billing cycle charges based on dominant traffic (the higher of inbound or outbound). The unit price varies by traffic direction. Billable data transfer is the total dominant traffic accumulated during the billing period.

Internet traffic fee

Effective from 00:00:00 on June 1, 2025, the monthly free quota for CDT Internet data transfer increases from 200 GB to 220 GB. This quota provides 20 GB for use in Chinese mainland regions and 200 GB for use in regions outside the Chinese mainland.

• The first 220 GB of Internet data transfer is free of charge each month. This includes 20 GB for Chinese mainland regions and 200 GB for regions outside the Chinese mainland. After the free quota is exhausted, data transfer is billed on a tiered basis starting from the first GB.

• The final price appears on your bill.

Data transfer fee

The data transfer unit price varies by direction, determined by the access point and source server regions.

The fees are calculated as follows:

• Instance fee = CNY 0.084/hour × 1 hour = CNY 0.084

• Internet traffic fee = CNY 0

  The free quota for Internet data transfer is not exhausted.

• Data transfer fee = CNY 0.525/GB × 10 GB = CNY 5.25

• Total fee = CNY 0.084 + CNY 0 + CNY 5.25 = CNY 5.334

Overdue payment

When a payment is overdue, the account owner receives text and email notifications.

• With service suspension protection enabled, your Anycast EIP instance continues operating after a payment becomes overdue.

  Service suspension protection allows continued use of pay-as-you-go resources for a specific period or quota after a payment becomes overdue. Charges still accrue during this period. Service suspension protection.

• If you exhaust your service suspension protection quota, the system limits the instance bandwidth to 1 Kbit/s.

• If service remains suspended for 7 days with the bill unpaid, the system releases the instance. You receive notifications one day before release. Once released, configurations and data are permanently deleted and unrecoverable.

Paying overdue bills

Top up your account to pay overdue bills.

• If you top up while service suspension protection is active, your services are not suspended.

• If you top up within 7 days of suspension and before release, the system pays the overdue bill and service resumes immediately.

1. Log on to the Anycast EIP console.

2. On the Anycast Elastic IP Addresses page, find the desired instance and click in the Actions column. Then, select Bills.

3. On the Bill Details page, set Product Name to EIP and Commodity Name to Anycast EIP to view the billing information. You can also click View Usage Details to view the raw usage data of the resource.
