CloudMonitor collects real-time metrics from Anycast EIPs and displays time series curves in the console. Use these metrics to troubleshoot issues.

View Anycast EIP monitoring data

  1. Log on to the Anycast EIP console.
  2. On the Anycast Elastic IP Addresses page, find the target instance. Access monitoring data by using one of the following methods:

    • From the Anycast Elastic IP Addresses page

      1. In the Monitor column, click the Monitor icon.

      2. In the Monitoring panel, select an access point region to view its monitoring data.

    • From the Anycast EIP details page

      1. On the Anycast Elastic IP Addresses page, click the ID of the target Anycast EIP in the Instance ID/Name column.

      2. On the instance details page, click the Monitor tab.

      3. On the Monitor tab, select an access point region to view its monitoring data.

    By default, monitoring data from the last hour is displayed. You can select 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or a custom time range from the Time drop-down list in the upper-left corner. Available metrics are listed in Anycast EIP metrics.

Configure threshold-based alert rules

Create threshold-based alert rules to monitor the resource usage and running status of Anycast EIPs and ensure service stability.

  1. Log on to the Anycast EIP console.
  2. On the Anycast Elastic IP Addresses page, find the target instance and click the Monitor icon in the Monitor column.

  3. In the Monitoring panel, click Threshold Settings to go to the CloudMonitor console.

  4. On the Alert Rules list page, click Create Alert Rule.

  5. In the Create Alert Rule panel, configure the parameters as described in the following table, and then click Confirm.

    The following table describes key parameters. For all parameters, see Create an alert rule.

    Rule Description

    Defines the conditions that trigger an alert. To add a condition:

    1. Click Add Rule.

    2. In the Configure Rule Description panel, set parameters such as Rule Name, Metric Type, Metric, and Threshold and Alert Level.

      Available metrics are listed in Anycast EIP metrics.

    3. Click OK.
