AI Gateway integrates with Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis and SkyWalking to help you identify performance bottlenecks and improve diagnostics for your microservices. You can enable tracing to gain end-to-end observability across your gateway.
Prerequisites

Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis is activated. If not, log on to the Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis console with your Alibaba Cloud account to activate the service.
Enable tracing
Tracing in AI Gateway is free, but Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis is a paid service based on usage. For more information, see Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis Pricing.
Log on to the AI Gateway console.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Instance. In the top menu bar, select a region.
On the Instance page, click the target instance ID.

AI Gateway provides two ways to enable tracing:
Via Tracing

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

Click Activate Tracing Analysis. In the Configure Tracing Analysis dialog box, turn on the Tracing Analysis Status switch, select a Tracing Analysis Protocol and a Sampling Rate, and then click OK.
Via Parameters

In the left-side navigation pane, click Parameters.

In the Observability Parameters section, click the
icon next to Tracing. In the Configure Tracing Analysis dialog box, turn on the Tracing Analysis Status switch, select a Tracing Analysis Protocol and a Sampling Rate, and then click OK.After enabling tracing, go to to view the instance's trace data.
