This topic describes how to deactivate or delete cloud-native API gateway consumers.
Deactivate a consumer
Log on to the API Gateway console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Consumers. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

On the Consumers page, find the consumer that you want to deactivate, and in the Actions column, click Disable. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
Delete a consumer
Log on to the API Gateway console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Consumers. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

On the Consumers page, find the consumer that you want to delete, and in the Actions column, click Delete. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, enter the name of the consumer and click Delete.
