Resource plans
Synthetic Monitoring resource plans offer resources at a lower price to help you save on costs. This topic describes the types and pricing of Synthetic Monitoring resource plans.
Starting from June 1, 2024, ARMS Synthetic Monitoring no longer supports the activation of pay-as-you-go billing or the purchase of subscription resources. For more information, see Product Change: Discontinuation of Synthetic Monitoring Activation.

Offset rules
Resource plans can be used for the following Synthetic Monitoring node types: PC (IDC and Last Mile), cloud host, and mobile.
The number of Compute Units (CUs) consumed per task execution varies by node type:
Cloud host: 1 CU per task execution.
PC (IDC and Last Mile): 30 CUs per task execution.
Mobile: 80 CUs per task execution.
Offset order
Resources are deducted from resource plans first. Resource plans are consumed in order of their expiration date, with the one that expires soonest used first. The pay-as-you-go billing method applies after the resource plan quota is exhausted.
If you have an active subscription that has not expired or its quota has not been exhausted, any newly purchased resource plan can be used only after the subscription expires or its quota is exhausted.
The special offer resource plan is valid for one month. If your subscription for PC nodes has a sufficient quota, purchase a special offer resource plan only when you need to use other node types.
