Unsubscription policy
You can unsubscribe from subscription Grafana workspaces and cancel pending renewals in Managed Service for Grafana. This page explains refund rules, the unsubscription process, and what happens after you unsubscribe.
Before you unsubscribe
Before you unsubscribe from a Grafana workspace, make sure that the workspace does not contain required data, or that the required data has been backed up or migrated.
Refund rules
When you unsubscribe from a subscription Grafana workspace, the refund is calculated as follows:
Refundable amount = Paid amount - Fee for consumed resources
The variables in the formula are defined as follows:
Paid amount: The cash amount you paid, excluding coupons and vouchers.
Fee for consumed resources: Daily fee x Consumed subscription duration x Discount for the consumed subscription duration.
Daily fee: Order-specific fee / 30.
The consumed subscription duration is counted in days. Any partial day counts as one full day.
Refund restrictions
For Grafana workspaces purchased during promotional events, the promotion refund policy takes precedence over the general policy if the two conflict.
Non-refundable Grafana resources cannot be unsubscribed.
If the refundable amount is 0, you cannot apply for a refund.
Unsubscription process
Unsubscribe from subscription Grafana workspaces on the Unsubscribe page. The page has two tabs:
Unsubscribe from resources that are being used. -- For workspaces you no longer need.
Unsubscribe Renewal Period -- For renewal orders you want to cancel.
Unsubscribe from an active workspace
Use this option when you no longer need a Grafana workspace.
On the Unsubscribe page, click the Unsubscribe from resources that are being used. tab.
Find the Grafana workspace and click Unsubscribe Resource in the Actions column.
NoteTo filter the list, set Name to Managed Service for Grafana - Subscription and specify the Instance ID or Created At values.
On the Unsubscribe Resource page, review the resource details and enter a reason for unsubscribing.
Select the following checkboxes:
I have read the Unsubscribing Rules and confirmed the unsubscribe amount.
I have confirmed that the data of the unsubscribe instance is backed up and migrated.
Click Unsubscribe, and then click OK to confirm.
Cancel a renewal order
Cancel a pending renewal without releasing the workspace.
On the Unsubscribe page, click the Unsubscribe Renewal Period tab.
Find the Grafana workspace and click Cancel Renewal in the Actions column.
NoteTo filter the list, set Name to Managed Service for Grafana - Subscription and specify the Instance ID or Created At values.
On the Cancel Renewal page, confirm the Updated Expiration Time.
Select the checkbox: I have read the Unsubscribing Rules and confirmed the unsubscribe amount.
Click Unsubscribe, and then click OK to confirm.
Impact of unsubscription
After you unsubscribe from a Grafana workspace, the workspace is automatically released and data is deleted.
Refund flow
Refunds are based on actual resource usage and returned to the original payment account:
Cash payments and stored-value card balances are refunded to the original payment account.
Coupons and vouchers are not refundable.
