You can create asset groups to organize your assets based on your business needs. By adding similar assets to a group, you can manage them collectively and perform bulk operations.

Create an asset group

  1. Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.

  2. In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Assets > Asset Group.

  4. On the Asset Group page, click Create Asset Group.

  5. In the Create Asset Group panel, enter an asset group name and description, and then click Create.

The asset group name must be 1 to 128 characters and can contain Chinese and English letters, digits, periods (.), underscores (_), hyphens (-), backslashes (\), and spaces. The name cannot start with a special character.

    Note

Use a meaningful name for your asset group, such as one based on its services, department, or region. This makes the group easier to identify and manage.
