Billing method
This topic describes the subscription billing rules and expiration policy for Bastionhost (Developer Edition and Lightweight Edition).
Billing cycle
For subscription instances, the billing cycle is determined by the purchase period of your order (UTC+8). It starts when the instance is activated or renewed and ends at 00:00:00 on the day after it expires.
Subscription billing cycles based on years or months refer to calendar years and calendar months.

Number of assets | Select a quantity based on the number of assets you currently manage and plan to add in the future. |
Number of concurrent sessions | The number of simultaneous Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) or Secure Shell (SSH) sessions allowed. Two SSH connections or one RDP connection counts as one concurrent session. For example, if 20 operators each require an average of five sessions, you need a total of 100 concurrent sessions (20 × 5). |

Number of network domains | A network domain centrally manages network resource configurations for O&M operations performed through Bastionhost. Select the number of network domains based on the distribution of your managed assets. One Alibaba Cloud VPC counts as one network domain. |

Expiration policy
When a Bastionhost subscription expires, the service is automatically suspended. The following rules apply:
We will notify you by SMS or email 7 days before your instance expires.
If you do not renew before the expiration date, the service is suspended upon expiration.
After your instance expires, your configurations are retained for 15 days.
If you renew the instance within this 15-day period, you can continue to use your original configurations. If you do not renew within this period, the configurations are permanently deleted.
