Getting started
Cloud Architect Design Tools (CADT) provides an all-in-one service for designing, deploying, and managing application architectures. Drag and drop components to visually build and deploy cloud applications.
Quickly deploy cloud applications
Create an application
Use drag-and-drop or the Solution Center to design and build cloud applications with a clear architecture topology. For more information, see Create an application architecture.
Click Create Connection to connect the elastic IP address (EIP) to the ECS instance and the ECS instance to the RDS instance. This creates the corresponding connection lines.
Configure resources
Double-click a product icon to configure resource parameters and view real-time fees and promotions. For more information, see Configure resources.
Deploy the application
During deployment, CADT validates resources, generates a price quote, and places the order. It checks resource inventory and configuration, then presents a detailed price breakdown. For more information, see Deploy an application.

Resource validation: Checks whether the required services are activated, resource configurations are correct, and resource inventory is sufficient.

Price checklist: Cloud resources are categorized as Free, Pay-as-you-go, and Subscription, giving you a complete cost overview.

Confirm order: After you confirm the resource specifications and prices, place the order to start deployment.
Adjust the architecture
Add or remove resources in deployed applications to meet changing business needs. For more information, see Adjust application architectures.
Release resources
If you no longer need an architecture, release all pay-as-you-go resources with a single click to save costs. For more information, see Release resources.
More O&M capabilities
Template variables
Template variables make resource deployment more flexible and templates more reusable. For more information, see Guidelines for using template variables.
Permission management
CADT natively supports Alibaba Cloud Resource Access Management (RAM) and Resource Management frameworks to manage permissions for CADT, its applications, and templates. For more information, see CADT Permission Management.
Resource discovery
CADT discovers your existing cloud resources so you can import them into your application architecture for visual O&M. For more information, see Resource discovery.
Application resource planning
Based on your selected region and resource specifications, CADT identifies which zones have sufficient inventory for deployment. This helps prevent resource creation failures. For more information, see Application resource planning.
Intelligent monitoring
Intelligent monitoring combines CADT architecture topology data with Hybrid Cloud Monitoring performance data to display real-time application topology, performance metrics, and alerts. For more information, see Intelligent monitoring.
Disaster recovery management service
