Import resources

  1. Select a resource type, find the resource, and drag it onto the architecture diagram.

  1. Double-click the node to open its properties. Under billing method, select Import Existing, and select the corresponding instance.

    Important

    If a resource has a parent node, you must import the parent node first.

    For example, to import an ECS instance, you must first import the VPC, then the VSwitch, and finally the ECS instance.

  1. After completing the configuration, click Save.

  2. After saving your changes, click Import Resources.

In the resource import list dialog box, confirm the name, type, billing method, and status of the resources. If needed, select the Enable CloudMonitor Group checkbox, and click Import.

  1. The resources are imported successfully.

  1. You can also remove the imported resources from CADT. This action only removes them from the architecture diagram and does not affect the actual resources in your account.
