Activate Alibaba Cloud Captcha 2.0
You must activate Captcha 2.0 to use the service.
After you activate the service, you can purchase a resource package to offset your API calls. This topic describes how to activate Captcha 2.0 and purchase a resource package.
Before you begin
Captcha 2.0 is a pay-as-you-go service. After you activate the service, you can use resources on demand without upfront purchases. The system generates a bill based on your actual usage and deducts the fees from your account in each billing cycle.
Before you activate the service, review the following topics to learn about Captcha 2.0:
Activate subscription-based Captcha 2.0
Go to the Captcha 2.0 (subscription) purchase page.
Set Product Type to Subscription and configure the parameters for your desired instance version.

Purchase this item if you need to configure more scene IDs than the free quota for your instance version allows.
Daily API call extension
Purchase this item if your daily verification volume exceeds the quota for your instance version.
Purchase duration
Select the duration of your subscription.
We recommend that you also activate pay-as-you-go for Captcha 2.0. This ensures that after your subscription expires, your service automatically switches to the pay-as-you-go billing method, preventing service disruptions. If you do not activate the pay-as-you-go method, API calls will fail after your subscription ends.
Activate pay-as-you-go for Captcha 2.0
Go to the Captcha 2.0 (pay-as-you-go) purchase page.
On the purchase page, click Buy Now and follow the on-screen instructions to activate Captcha 2.0.
Purchase a resource package
Before you purchase a resource package for Captcha 2.0, make sure that the Captcha 2.0 service is activated. Purchasing a resource package does not activate the service; it only offsets API calls for a service that is already activated.
A resource package can be used to offset API calls for both Captcha 2.0 and Captcha 1.0. For more information, see Resource package (prepaid).
Go to the resource package purchase page.
On the Captcha Resource Package page, select Resource Package Specification, Purchase Quantity, and Purchase Duration, and then click Buy Now.
NoteThe available Resource Package Specification options vary based on the Purchase Duration you select. For more information, visit the resource package purchase page. Larger specifications typically offer a lower price per API call.
Confirm your order, read and agree to the Service Agreement, and then complete the payment.
After you purchase a resource package, you can log in to the Billing Management console to view the remaining resource packages and total remaining API calls. For more information, see Query remaining calls.
