Billing Logic
Starting on the first day of each calendar month, the system records the maximum daily storage usage. Any amount exceeding 50 GB per day is accumulated. Billing ends on the last day of the month or on the day you opt out of the service. The final charge equals (total accumulated excess storage ÷ number of billing days in the month) × CNY 0.148 per GB per month.
The free quota of 50 GB applies to your entire Alibaba Cloud account. If you have multiple instances, the combined storage allocated across all instances must not exceed 50 GB to remain within the free quota.
Example: Suppose your usage starts at 49 GB on day 1, increases to 50 GB on day 2, and then grows by 1 GB each day. Days 1 and 2 stay within the 50 GB limit, so no excess is added.

The total accumulated excess is: 0 + 0 + 1 + 2 + ... + 26 + 27 + 28 = 406 GB.
Number of billing days in the month: 30.
Final charge: 406 ÷ 30 × 0.148 = CNY 2.003 ≈ CNY 2.
Automatically deleted recordings cannot be recovered. Set a time-based or quota-based threshold according to your business needs, or save recordings locally in a timely manner. For guidance on adjusting these thresholds, see Call Recording Storage Configuration below.

-
Call recording format: Choose MP3 or WAV. Recordings will be saved in the selected format.
-
Save MKV dual-track recordings: Every normal call generates a dual-track recording. If you do not use the quality inspection service, you can choose not to save these files.
-
Use your own OSS storage service: When enabled, Cloud Contact Center uses STS authorization to store all recordings in your OSS bucket. Cloud Contact Center no longer stores your recordings or charges you for recording storage. OSS bills your root account directly based on its pricing. You can still listen to recordings and invoke existing APIs in Cloud Contact Center without disruption.
-
Recording file storage:
-
Quota-based storage: Sets a fixed upper limit on total storage. If exceeded, the system automatically deletes the oldest recordings. For example, if you have a recording from January 1 and exceed your quota on January 30, the January 1 recording is deleted. Maximum quota: 1,048,576 GB (1,024 TB).
-
Time-based storage: Does not limit total usage. Instead, it sets a maximum lifecycle for each recording file. Files are automatically deleted after this period. Minimum duration: 1 day. Maximum duration: 2,000 days.
