Static HTTPS requests
After you enable HTTPS in Alibaba Cloud CDN, you are charged for HTTPS requests for static content based on the pay-as-you-go billing method andresource package .
You cannot use CDN data transfer plans to offset fees for HTTPS requests.
CDN supports only static acceleration and bills only for static requests. DCDN supports both static and dynamic acceleration. You are charged for dynamic requests, such as dynamic HTTP and HTTPS requests, only when a domain uses DCDN for acceleration.
CDN and DCDN can share the same Static HTTPS Requests resource package.
Billing
The following table describes the pay-as-you-go price.

Resource package prepaid method: See resource package billing.
If you have purchased a request resource package, requests exceeding the 5 million free quota are deducted from the resource package first.
After the resource package is exhausted, any remaining requests are automatically switched to pay-as-you-go billing.
HTTPS request fees vs. traffic fees and cost optimization
Billing for static HTTPS requests is a value-added service that is independent from CDN downstream traffic billing. The two are settled separately as two billable items:
CDN downstream traffic fee: charged based on the downstream traffic that each domain name generates, or offset by a prepaid CDN data transfer plan.
Static HTTPS request fee: charged per 10,000 static HTTPS requests, or offset by a resource plan for HTTPS requests. This fee is not covered by CDN data transfer plans and must be settled separately.
When the same domain name has both HTTPS and static acceleration enabled, a single request can incur a downstream traffic fee and a static HTTPS request fee at the same time.
If your static HTTPS request fee stays higher than your CDN downstream traffic fee over recent months, you can evaluate a migration to Edge Security Acceleration (ESA).

Log on to the CDN console.

In the left navigation pane, click Usage.
On the Usage page, select NUMBER OF HTTPS REQUESTS and click Search.
Resource package

Log on to the CDN console.
In the navigation pane, choose Resource Plans.
On the Resource Plans page, view the usage of your resource packages.
Self-service cost check
You can self-check the fees for static HTTPS requests in two places: the Resource Plans page of the CDN console shows the remaining quota and offset details of your resource plans; the Usage Details of the Alibaba Cloud User Center shows every offset or pay-as-you-go billing record for static HTTPS requests.
To check the billing details in the User Center, perform the following steps:
Log on to the CDN console, and in the left-side navigation pane choose Resource Plans.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Usage Details. You are redirected to the Resource Plans page of the Alibaba Cloud User Center.
Click the Usage Details tab.
Filter by criteria such as consumption start time, account, instance name, and offset instance ID to locate the offset records related to static HTTPS requests. The table shows the account, product name, product details, resource plan name, instance name, resource type, offset time, remaining quota before offset, offset amount, remaining quota after offset, offset account, offset product, offset instance ID, and offset billable item for each offset.
