The Split Bill feature lets you view detailed usage and split costs for different split items.
Overview
When using CDN, you may need to allocate costs among different departments in your organization. The Split Bill feature, available in Alibaba Cloud Billing Management, enables this.
For CDN, data transfer costs are generated by each domain name. These costs are then billed to a specific instance. Each such instance is referred to as a split item.
Enable the split bill feature
If this is your first time using the split bill feature, you must first enable it. This feature is available at no additional cost. After you enable it, data becomes available the next day.

Procedure
Log in to the Cost Management console and navigate to the page. On this page, you can view the detailed costs allocated from each bill to each split item.
Alibaba Cloud DCDN supports cost allocation at the domain name level. For DCDN, each split item ID corresponds to an acceleration domain.
Use the Manage domain name tags feature to apply tags to domain names based on their business unit. You can then use these tags on the Split Bill Details page to filter and view the allocated costs for a specific business unit.
Use the Resource Management feature to assign domain names to resource groups based on their business unit. You can then use these resource groups on the Split Bill Details page to filter and view the allocated costs for a specific business unit.
In the upper-right corner of the list on the Split Bill Details page, click the
icon to export the filtered split bill data for further analysis.
