Available regions and zones
This page lists all Transit Router supported regions and zones by edition.
Transit routers come in two editions:
Enterprise Edition — the current edition, available in all supported regions except Cloud Connect Network (CCN) regions. Supports flexible routing policies in addition to all basic features. See How transit routers work for details.
Basic Edition — discontinued and no longer available for purchase. Only supported in CCN regions.
Enterprise Edition transit router
Enterprise Edition transit routers are supported in the following regions and zones.
If your resource is in a zone that does not support transit routers, but another zone in the same region does, you can still connect it to the transit router. Create a vSwitch in a supported zone and establish a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) connection through that vSwitch — this enables communication between all resources in the VPC and the transit router.
For example, if an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance is in Zone G of China (Hangzhou), which does not support transit routers, create vSwitches in Zone J and Zone K. Then establish a VPC connection between these vSwitches to connect all VPC resources to the transit router.

Basic Edition transit router (discontinued — for reference only)
The Basic Edition is discontinued and no longer available for purchase. The following regions support Cloud Connect Network (CCN). Transit routers created in these regions default to the Basic Edition.
