Each Alibaba Cloud account has default quotas for CEN resources and API operations. Some quotas are adjustable.

Quota overview

Alibaba Cloud service quotas apply per account or per region and fall into three categories:

  • General quotas: The maximum amount of cloud resources that you can use.

  • API rate limits: Maximum queries per second (QPS) for API operations.

  • Privilege quotas: Permissions granted to your Alibaba Cloud account to use specific features.

CEN supports all three quota types, and some quotas are adjustable. View current quotas or request increases in Quota Center or on the CEN quota management page. Increase CEN quotas.

General quotas

The following tables list CEN general quotas.

Note

  • If a default value here differs from the console, the console value prevails.

  • You can also query quotas with a name and ID by calling the ListProductQuotas API.

  • On the API Rate Limits page in Quota Center, view the rate limits for CEN API operations.

  • On the Quota Management page, go to the Quota Type section and click the API Rate Limit tab to view the rate limits for CEN API operations.
