Deleting a network instance connection removes a virtual private cloud (VPC), Express Connect Router (ECR), VPN, virtual border router (VBR), or Cloud Connect Network (CCN) connection from a transit router. Once deleted, the associated network loses connectivity to other networks through that transit router.
VPC connections managed by cloud services
Some VPC connections are created automatically by other Alibaba Cloud services, such as Simple Application Server, WUYING Workspace and Cloud Firewall. These connections cannot be deleted from the Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) console. Log on to the corresponding service console to delete them.
Delete a network instance connection
Prerequisites
Before deleting a VPC connection, make sure there are no routes associated with the VPC under the PrivateZone and Cloud Services tabs on the transit router details page. For details, see Disable access to PrivateZone and Disable access to a cloud service.
Skip this step if you have added PrivateZone and cloud service access configurations in the route table of an Enterprise Edition transit router.
Console
Delete a connection from an Enterprise Edition transit router
Go to the transit router details page. On the Intra-region Connections tab, find the target connection. In the Actions column, click Detach.
WarningBatch deletion lets you remove multiple instance connections at once. Before confirming the operation, review the configurations shown in the dialog box to avoid unintended service disruption.
Delete a connection from a Basic Edition transit router
Go to the transit router details page. On the Intra-region Connections tab, find the target connection. In the Actions column, click Detach.
