Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) integrates with CloudMonitor to automatically monitor the route entry usage on your transit routers. This topic describes the system events that are triggered when route entry quotas are nearly or fully consumed, and shows you how to create an alert rule for these events. This allows you to receive timely notifications and prevent service disruptions from exhausted route entry quotas.
System events for route entry quota usage
If the number of route entries on one of your transit routers triggers one of the following events, the system automatically reports the event to the CloudMonitor console. You can view event details in the console. For more information, see View system events.
The event levels are as follows:

WARN: Indicates a warning. You can handle the event as needed.

CRITICAL: Indicates a critical issue. We recommend that you resolve the event immediately.

Create an alert rule for route entry quotas
To receive timely notifications about route entry quota usage, create alert rules for these system events. When an event is triggered, CloudMonitor automatically sends you an alert.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

On the Subscription Policy tab, click Create a subscription policy.

In the Create a subscription policy panel, enter a Name for the policy. Select System Events for Subscription Type and Cloud Enterprise Network for Products. Select the Event Type and Event Name as described in System events for route entry quota usage. Configure the other parameters based on your business needs.
