Activate Agentic Cloud Governance Center

Before you begin

You can activate Agentic Cloud Governance Center using an Alibaba Cloud account that has completed real-name verification — either a corporate account or a personal account.

• Corporate account: access to all Agentic Cloud Governance Center features.

• Personal account: access to the governance maturity check feature only.

Use a Resource Access Management (RAM) user under your account to perform operations. Grant the RAM user the AdministratorAccess permission to avoid permission errors during the process. For details, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.

Activate the service

1. Log in to the Agentic Cloud Governance Center console.

2. On the Agentic Cloud Governance Center page, click Activate Now.

3. On the page that appears, activate the service.

   1. Select a region.

      • If your business runs in the Chinese mainland, we recommend that you select the China (Hangzhou) region.

      • If your business runs in the China (Hong Kong) region, China (Macao) region, China (Taiwan) region, or countries or regions outside the Chinese mainland, we recommend that you select the Singapore region.

      Note

      The region you select is used only for landing zone deployment — it stores deployment templates and records. Resources managed by Agentic Cloud Governance Center, such as resource directories, identities and permissions, and cloud resources, are not restricted to this region. You cannot change the region after activation.

   2. Click Create Service-Linked Role to create the AliyunServiceRoleForGovernance service-linked role.

      Agentic Cloud Governance Center uses this role to access your resources, including resource directories. The role includes permissions to enable a resource directory and manage its structure, letting you establish and maintain the right resource hierarchy for your enterprise.    3. Read and agree to the Agentic Cloud Governance Center Terms of Service.

   4. Click Activate Now.
