Agentic Cloud Governance Center unifies check settings for both Cloud Governance and AI Governance check systems. Check items and views follow the top tab; task management applies to both systems, while subscriptions can be configured independently.

Configure check items

Some governance maturity check items support custom parameters and scope. New settings take effect only after you trigger a new check.

Note

Manage cloud governance check items under the Cloud Governance tab; manage AI Governance check items under the AI Governance tab.

Configure check parameters

Configure check parameters to adjust the criteria for a check item.

Note

After enabling the multi-account governance maturity check, only the management account can configure check parameters. These settings automatically apply to all member accounts.

  1. Log on to the Agentic Cloud Governance Center console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Well-Architected Framework > Detection Settings.

  3. On the Check Item Settings tab, filter for check items that support custom parameter configuration.

  4. Find the target check item and click Edit in the Actions column.

The default port is 443. An SLB instance is considered non-compliant if it lacks an HTTPS listener on a port within the specified range.

Configure check scope

Define the check scope by resource group or tag. Resources outside the defined scope are excluded from checks.

Note

The check scope settings apply only to the current account. You must configure the check scope for each member account separately.

  1. Log on to the Agentic Cloud Governance Center console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Well-Architected Framework > Detection Settings.

  3. On the Check Item Settings tab, filter for check items that support custom scope configuration.

  4. Find the target check item and click Edit in the Actions column.

  5. In the Check Item Settings panel, set the check scope based on a resource group or tag, and then click OK.

For example, for the Each ECS resource uses high-availability specifications check item, you can limit the check to resources in the test resource group.

Important: Modifying check criteria can affect your maturity score. Proceed with caution. For resource groups, you can select Effective Scope or Exclude Scope. For tags, you can select Effective Tag or Exclude Tag.

Manage check tasks

Schedule check tasks to run automatically once per day at a specified time, or run them manually at any time. A check typically takes 5 to 10 minutes.

Note

Current check task settings apply to both Cloud Governance and AI Governance simultaneously (shared scheduling policy).

  1. Log on to the Agentic Cloud Governance Center console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Well-Architected Framework > Detection Settings.

  3. On the Check Task Management tab, enable the Check Time Settings switch. Then, configure the Frequency, Time, and Apply To settings for the scheduled check. Finally, click Save.

    Note

Check tasks for all member accounts are automatically triggered at the time specified by the management account. However, member accounts can still manually trigger checks.
