Coupon code templates let you add a one-tap copy-code button to WhatsApp marketing messages so recipients can instantly save a promotion code.
What is a coupon code template?
A coupon code template is a marketing template that displays a single button. When a recipient taps the button, the coupon code is copied to their clipboard.
When creating a coupon code template, select Marketing for the Category.
Limitations

WhatsApp Web does not support coupon code templates.

A coupon code can be up to 15 characters long.

You can add only one copy code button.
Create templates in the console
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.

Click Channel Management, and then click the Channel ID or Manage for the desired WhatsApp channel.

On the Channel Operations page, select Template Design and click Create Template.

In the Create Template dialog box, set the Template Name, set the Category to Marketing, select a Language, and click OK.

On the template editor page, design the message body and click the Add Promo Code Button icon.
The message body supports up to 1,024 characters with rich text formatting such as bold, italic, strikethrough, and alignment. You can also insert variables and select Custom as the template format.

In the button configuration panel on the right, select a Variable.
The button text field is required and sets the text displayed on the button, such as "Copy Code".

Click Save, and then click Submit to send the template for review.
