This topic describes how to send messages to LINE users or groups in the Chat App Message Service console.
Prerequisites
LINE Official Account authorization is completed. For more information, see LINE Official Account authorization.
Template design is completed. For more information, see Template design.
The user has added your LINE Official Account as a friend.
LINE is primarily used for messaging interactions with end users. Before sending messages to an individual end user, the user must first add your LINE Official Account as a friend.
When a user adds your account for the first time, LINE generates a User ID and assigns it to that user. After that, you can proactively send any type of message to the end user at any time.
Sending messages to groups:
Make sure the bot has been added to the group and has the require permissions.
The bot can send messages to authorized groups at any time.
Procedure
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.
On the Channel Management page, click the channel ID of the LINE channel from which you want to send messages.
Click Message Sending.complete the configuration according to the following table.

Language
The language in which to send the message.
Send Message
Click Select Template, select a message template that has been created.
Send Account
Select an authorized LINE Official Account.
Send Type
Select the message sending type:
Send immediately: Sends the message to the target accounts or groups as soon as it is saved.
Schedule send: Specify a future time. The system automatically sends the message at that time.
Import Method
Select how to import target users or groups:
Upload Excel File: Upload an Excel file containing target user IDs. Suitable for batch sending.
Import by ID: Paste user IDs directly into the text box. Suitable for small-scale or ad hoc sending.
Select Audience Group: Select target groups from the list of integrated LINE groups. Suitable for community message broadcasts.
All Friends: Broadcast the message to all friends who have added the LINE Official Account. Suitable for marketing campaigns.
After the configuration is complete, click Send.
