This topic describes the refund rules, refund methods, and fund flow for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse subscription clusters.
After you unsubscribe from an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster, its compute and storage resources are released and the data is no longer retained. Proceed with caution.
Precautions
Refunds are available only for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse subscription clusters. Pay-as-you-go clusters are not eligible for refunds. You can delete them in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console. For more information, see Delete a cluster.
Refund rules
ApsaraDB for ClickHouse subscription clusters are eligible for refunds. Before you unsubscribe from an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse subscription resource, read the unsubscribe rules, precautions, and examples carefully. For more information, see Unsubscribe rules.
Refund methods
The refund methods for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters vary based on the billing method, as shown in the following table.
Billing method | Refund policy |
Subscription | If you no longer need a subscription cluster, you can request a refund. When you request a refund, the system calculates the amount based on your subscription resource usage. For more information, see Request to unsubscribe. |
Pay-as-you-go | Bills for pay-as-you-go clusters are generated in real time based on actual usage. Therefore, refunds are not applicable. If you no longer need a pay-as-you-go cluster, delete it. After the cluster is deleted, you are no longer charged for it. For more information, see Delete a cluster. |
Fund flow for refunds
Refunds apply only to the amount paid for an order in cash or with a stored value card. The portion of the payment covered by vouchers or coupons is not refundable.
