Learn how to manage alert rules for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse.
Prerequisites
-
Your cluster runs the Community-Compatible Edition or Enterprise Edition.
-
ApsaraDB for ClickHouse uses Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) for alerting. RAM users require the AliyunARMSFullAccess permission. For instructions on granting permissions, see Manage permissions for a RAM user.
Manage alert rules
-
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
-
In the upper-left corner of the page, select your cluster's region.
-
On the Clusters page, click Clusters of Community-compatible Edition or Enterprise Edition Clusters, and then click your target cluster's ID.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring and Alerting.
-
On the Monitoring Details page, click the Cluster Alerting tab.
-
In the ClickHouse Alerts or Enterprise Edition ClickHouse Alerts list, find the target alert rule and, in the Actions column, do one of the following:
-
View historical alerts for an alert rule: Click Alert Event History in the Actions column.
-
Modify an alert rule: Click Actions in the Modify column and modify the parameters in the Edit Alert panel. For information about how to edit the parameters, see Set alerts in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
-
Copy alert rule: Click Copy in the Actions column to duplicate the current alert rule.
-
Stop an alert rule: Click Stop in the Actions column. After the rule is stopped, no alert is triggered even if the metrics of the resources specified in the rule meet the alert conditions.
-
Enable an alert rule: Click Start in the Actions column. After the rule is enabled, an alert is triggered when the metric of the resource specified in the rule meets the alert condition.
-
Delete an alert rule: Click Delete in the Actions column. This action cannot be undone, and you must create a new one.
