Backup resource statistics

Backed-up CPFS data sources

The total number of CPFS data sources that have backup points, including released data sources with existing backup points. Data sources with backups created but no backup points are excluded.

Assume you have added 12 CPFS data sources in the current region. Of these, 5 have backups enabled and have generated backup points, 3 have backups enabled but have not yet generated backup points, and 4 do not have backups created. For example:

  • Backed-up CPFS data sources: 5

  • Unbacked-up CPFS data sources: 7

The 3 data sources with backups enabled but no backup points are counted as "Unbacked-up CPFS data sources". After backup points are generated, they are automatically counted as "Backed-up CPFS data sources". For example:

  • Backed-up CPFS data sources: 8

  • Unbacked-up CPFS data sources: 4

If you have released CPFS data sources that still have backup points for recovery, these data sources are also counted as "Backed-up CPFS data sources".

Unbacked-up CPFS data sources

The total number of existing, unreleased CPFS data sources that do not have backup points. This includes data sources with backups enabled but no backup points generated, such as recently activated sources, sources with continuous backup failures, or sources with expired backup points from paused backups.

View the data source list

The CPFS data source list appears below the backup resource statistics. The page provides two views:

  • Protected CPFS Data Sources: Displays CPFS data sources that have a backup plan or existing backup points.

  • CPFS Data Sources: Displays all added CPFS data sources.

Note

Data sources with a backup plan or existing backup points appear on both tabs. The Protected CPFS Data Sources tab shows the protection status and backup history from a backup perspective. The CPFS Data Sources tab shows all data sources from a management perspective.

The data source list includes the following fields:

Field

Description

Data Source ID/Name

The unique identifier and custom name of the data source.

Data Source Path

The mount path or shared path of the CPFS file system.

Backup Status

The current status of the backup job. Valid values:

  • Not Activated: Backups are not enabled for this CPFS data source.

  • Preparing: Backups are enabled for this CPFS data source, and the backup client is being installed.

  • Preparation Failed: The backup client installation failed. View the error details in the console.

  • Ready: The backup client is installed and waiting for the first backup job to start.

  • Backing Up: The backup status is normal, and the system is waiting for the next backup job to run.

  • Backing Up (In Progress): The backup status is normal, and a backup job is currently running.

  • Paused: All backup plans for this resource are paused. Backup data is retained and expires automatically according to the retention period. To resume backups, enable the backup plans in the list on the backup details page. Before the data expires, you can still use existing backup points to restore data.

  • Stopped: The backup resource cannot be found, and backup jobs have stopped automatically. Backup data is retained and expires automatically according to the retention period. View the time-to-live (TTL) in the backup history list on the backup details page. Before the data expires, you can still use existing backup points to restore data.

Number of Backup Points

The total number of backup points generated for the data source. Click the number to view the list of backup points.

Number of Backup Plans

The number of backup plans created for the data source.

Last Backup Time

The completion time of the last backup job.

Next Backup Time

The time of the next scheduled backup according to the backup plan.

Operations

Click View Details to view detailed backup information for the data source.

View backup details

After you back up a CPFS, find the target CPFS data source in the Protected CPFS Data Sources list and click View Details in the Operations column. On the Backup Details tab, view the following backup information.

Module
