A traffic analysis report summarizes your website's access data over a specific period, helping you understand your site's traffic status, user needs, and user behavior. You can use this information to improve your site's content and features. This topic describes how to apply for a traffic analysis report.

Notes

  • Traffic data is recorded only when your website is accessible. The traffic analysis report is available 24 hours after you apply for it.

  • You can only view traffic data from the application date onward. Data before the application date cannot be retrieved.

  • The traffic analysis report does not include traffic generated by web crawlers. Therefore, it should not be used as the sole reference for your website's total traffic.

Procedure

Note

By default, the traffic analysis report feature is disabled in the Web Hosting console. To view a report for the first time, or if you have previously disabled this feature, you must apply to enable it.

  1. Log on to the Cloud Web Hosting management page.
  2. Find the Cloud Web Hosting instance that you want to manage and click Manage in the Actions column.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Traffic Status > Traffic Statistics Report.
  4. On the Traffic Statistics Report page, click Apply Now.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.
  6. Click OK.

You have successfully applied for the traffic analysis report.

    • Click View Report to view detailed information about your website traffic, such as visitor details, host information, and search engine bots. For detailed instructions, see View a traffic statistics report.

    • Click Disable Report. You cannot view the traffic analysis report after this feature is disabled. To view the report again, you must re-apply to enable the feature.
