What to do when web space is full-Cloud Web Hosting(CWH)-阿里云帮助中心

If a website on a shared Web Hosting instance runs out of web space, it may struggle to accommodate growing traffic, new applications, or more web files. This can disrupt access to your website. To fix this, you can purchase additional web space.

Notes

Before you increase the web space for your Web Hosting instance, note the following:

Item	Description	Example
Applicability	You can purchase additional web space only for shared Web Hosting instances.	Shared Economy Enhanced Edition, Shared Economy Edition
Expiration date	The additional web space expires on the same date as your Web Hosting instance.	If your original instance expires on June 25, 2020, the additional web space also expires on June 25, 2020.
Cost calculation	Cost of additional web space = (Number of months from purchase date to expiration date / 12) × Annual price of the additional web space.	For example: There are 3 months from the purchase date to the expiration date. The annual price for the additional web space (50 MB) is CNY 100. The cost for the additional web space is CNY 25, calculated as (3/12) × 100 = 25.
Renewal rules	If your Web Hosting instance expires in less than one month, we recommend that you renew the instance before you purchase additional web space. If you have purchased additional web space, you must also renew it when you renew your instance.
Upgrades or OS changes	Upgrading your Web Hosting instance or changing its operating system does not migrate the additional web space.

Procedure

Log on to the Cloud Web Hosting management page.
On the Web Hosting page, find your shared Web Hosting instance and click > Increase Web Space in the Actions column.
On the Confirm Increase Space page, enter the number of web space units to add, and then click Next.

You can purchase an unlimited amount of web space in 50 MB units. Enter the number of units you require.
Click Submit.
On the payment page, select the payment method and payment type, then click Pay Now.

Result

The purchased web space becomes active 3 to 5 minutes after a successful payment. You can view the update in the website information section on the site information page.
