After you change the data center or operating system for a host, its hostname, IP address, and database address also change. This topic explains how to find this new information to update your website's database connection string or point your domain name to the new IP address.
Procedure
Before you proceed, ensure you have changed the data center or operating system for your Web Hosting instance. For more information, see Change the data center of a host or Change the operating system of a host. This topic uses changing the operating system as an example.

Log on to the Web Hosting console.

In the navigation pane on the left, click Operation Logs.

On the Successful Operation Records tab, identify the Web Hosting instance based on the Operation Date and Operation columns.
NoteIf you already know the domain name of the host, you can enter the domain name or specify a date range (Start Date~End Date) and click the
icon to find the Web Hosting instance.Search results appear in a table on the Successful Operation Records tab. The table includes the Product Name, Operation, Operation Details, and Operation Date columns.

Find the Web Hosting instance and locate the new domain name of the host in the Operation Details column.
The host domain name is derived from the hostname. The
host domain nameis a combination of thehostnameand .my3w.com. For example, if the host domain name is wh-ibxi5mdsw0jxz**.my3w.com, the hostname is wh-ibxi5mdsw0jxz**. -
In the navigation pane on the left, click Hosts.

On the All Hosts tab, select a search method, enter a search term, and then click the
icon.For example, select Host Name as the search method and enter the new hostname in the search box.
NoteWhen you search by domain name, you cannot use the temporary domain name provided for the site.

Find the host and click Manage in the Actions column to view the host's new information.

The Site Information page shows the new website and database information for the host.
This page contains sections such as Server Monitoring (CPU usage, memory usage, and bandwidth), Website Information (running status, web space, traffic, database space, creation date, expiration date, supported languages, and temporary domain name), Account Information (bound mobile number, bound email address, console username, FTP username, host address, and a link to reset the password), Database Information (database name, username, address, type, and a link to reset the password), and ICP Filing Service Number.

The Host Information page shows the host's new hostname, IP address, and operating system.
This page also displays configuration information such as Web space (for example,
5120MB), CPU, memory, bandwidth, and node location.
