Reset your host management console password and FTP password periodically to improve the security of your site. You can also reset these passwords if you forget them.
The Cloud Web Hosting management console password is used to log on to the host management console. The FTP password is used to configure your site program when you build your site and to connect to your Cloud Web Hosting instance using an FTP client.
Prerequisites
You have an Alibaba Cloud account and its password. If you forget your account credentials, see How do I reset a forgotten password?
Are the Cloud Web Hosting management console password and Alibaba Cloud account password the same?
No. The Cloud Web Hosting management console (Wanwang host) uses a login system that is separate from your Alibaba Cloud account:
Username: Your host name (for example, qyw8204490001), not your Alibaba Cloud account name.
Password: The host management password that you set, not your Alibaba Cloud account password.
Phone number verification code login is not supported.
If you forget the host management console password, you can reset it by using the Reset Management Password function in the Cloud Web Hosting management console.

Refer to the following solutions based on your situation:
Error persists after password reset: Try to log on again. If the problem persists, check whether you are using the correct logon portal and the correct account format.
Logon records from other locations: Change your Cloud Web Hosting management console password and FTP password immediately to improve account security.
Unable to log on or manage the host after purchase: You must complete the initial setup first. On the Cloud Web Hosting management page, click Manage. In the Password initialization settings section, set the host management console password, FTP password, and database password, and then save the settings.
Password was previously shared with support staff: After the issue is resolved, change your database password and other sensitive passwords promptly to ensure account security.
