Disabling CloudSSO permanently removes your CloudSSO directory and all associated configuration data, including users, groups, permission sets, and access assignments.

Warning

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your CloudSSO configuration data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the CloudSSO console using your management account.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Settings.

  3. On the Settings page, click Delete Directory in the upper-right corner.

  4. In the confirmation dialog box, review the listed impacts and type the confirmation phrase if prompted.

  5. Click Delete Directory to confirm.

What happens next

After the directory is deleted, CloudSSO is no longer active for your organization.

To use CloudSSO again, re-enable it from the console. Re-enabling creates a new, empty directory — all previous configuration is gone and you must reconfigure users, groups, permission sets, and access assignments from scratch.
