Fields for creating a scheduling group

Field

Description

Remarks

Scheduling group name

The name of the scheduling group. Each name identifies a different scheduling group.

  • Scheduling group names within the same Alibaba Cloud account must be unique.

Concurrent number

The maximum number of tasks that can be concurrently run in the scheduling group.

  • Valid values: 1 to 100.

  • We recommend that you estimate the maximum number of instances that can be concurrently migrated based on your business bandwidth, and use that value as the concurrent number.

  • If you set the Concurrent number parameter to 1 and have multiple tasks (for example, five), only the first task runs and the remaining four wait. This is expected behavior.

Scheduling time

The time range during which tasks in the scheduling group are scheduled.

  • 8-22: Tasks are scheduled from 8:00 to 22:00 every day.

  • 22-8: Tasks are scheduled from 22:00 on the current day to 8:00 on the next day.

Scheduling rule

Specifies whether remaining tasks continue to run if a task in the scheduling group fails.

  • Continue: If a task fails, the remaining tasks continue to run.

  • Abort: If a task fails, the remaining tasks are not run.
