Aggregates data from a metric on a single device into a single data point using an aggregation method, such as sum, average, maximum, or minimum.
Prerequisites
You have created a metric. For more information, see Metric management.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Managed Network console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Network Monitoring > Aggregate Data Management.
Click Create Aggregate Data. In the dialog box that appears, enter the required information.
Aggregate Data Name: Enter a globally unique name for the aggregate data.
Description: Describe the purpose of the aggregate data. This helps with future maintenance.
Metric: Select the metric that contains the data to aggregate.
Data Item: Enter the output data item from the metric, such as `avg_latency` (average latency) for a Ping metric.
Device: Select the devices whose data will be aggregated.
Some Devices: Aggregate data from one or more specific devices covered by the metric.
All Devices: Aggregate data from all devices covered by the metric.
Aggregation Method: Select an aggregation method. Options include Sum, Average, Maximum, and Minimum.
Click Submit to save the aggregate data.
